The Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Friends of the Village Library Book Sale

Thanks to the Friends of the Village Library, you will be able to stop in at the Village Library on 22 Main Street Cooperstown, and fill your bag with all sorts of books to read over the cold winter!
All proceeds to assist our Village Library. Sale will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Book Sale will take place downstairs in the Village Board Room, Library of Cooperstown, 22 Main Street, Cooperstown.

Flurry of Fudge Flavors

Sip, Shop, Adopt

Visit the Susquehanna SPCA for delicious hot cocoa, shelter tours, and to support the shelter at the New Leash on Life Thrift Shop. For this weekend, get 50% off purchases from the shop and off of adoption fees for dogs. There will be no adoption fee to adopt cats. Donations of pet food and supplies for Sparky’s Pet Pantry are appreciated.
Adoptable four-legged friends will be visiting at various events throughout the Winter Carnival.

Race to the Top: Rock Climbing Competition

to 5 p.m.
The Clark Sports Center, 124 County Road 52, Cooperstown, NY, USA
Race to the Top Rock Climbing Competition: 1:00–3:00pm. Free, open to youth in Grades K-6. Sign-up at the Climbing Wall. Test your skills to not only reach the top of the rock wall in the lobby at the Clark Sports Center, but to also do it before anyone else.
Rock Climbing: Kid’s Climb, 3:00-5:00pm; Kid’s and Family Climb, 5:30-8:00pm.
All are welcome but non-members need to have a signed (by parent or guardian if underage) waiver on file to participate.

Soup R' Chili Dinner
4 p.m.
to 6 p.m.
First Baptist Church, 21 Elm Street, Cooperstown, NY, USA
The First Baptist Church of Cooperstown is offering its traditional Soup R Chili once again this year. The church will be serving chili, beef barley soup, and broccoli chowder available in to-go quarts.
Minimum suggested donation of $10 for a quart.
Advanced orders appreciated by emailing baptistcooperstown@gmail.com. In your order, please note chili, soup or chowder and quantity.
Orders are for take-out only; no seating will be provided.

Adult/Child Bowling Tournament
5:30 p.m.
The Clark Sports Center, 124 County Road 52, Cooperstown, NY, USA
Parents and children are invited to form a team of 1 adult and 1 child (2nd grade and up) and compete for the most points in this fun Bowling Tournament.
Entry is $6/non-member or $3/member. Call (607) 547- 2800 ext. 108.

Free Family Movie Night: FROZEN
5:30 p.m.
Baseball Hall of Fame, Main Street, Cooperstown, NY, USA
Come join us for a warm winter night as we celebrate the Annual Winter Carnival in Cooperstown, by screening "Frozen". Beginning at 5:30pm, visit our Learning Center to create a Frozen themed craft and a visit from the Snow Queen!
Following the craft, join us in the Grandstand Theater for our movie screening. "Frozen" tells the story of Princess Anna and her friend Kristoff on an epic journey to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa. Anna and Kristoff bravely push onward in a race to save their kingdom from winter's cold grip.
The film screening is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for the craft and the movie will start at 6:00 pm.
The movie is rated PG and runs 1 hour, 48 minutes.
